1. ALERT
The user presses the alert button on the back of their ID card holder. It is a covert security device that connects to a 24/7 alarm centre using GSM technology.
2. LISTEN IN
The response coordinator is then able to listen to any conversations surrounding the device. This may require an immediate response, which the response coordinator can action for back up, or for incidents of verbal abuse the digital recording service is available.
3. LOCATE
The response coordinator uses either pre-recorded messages, GSM technology or on-line diary information to locate the threatened user.
4. RESPOND
Depending on the severity of the incident the response is then actioned. The Police, a private security company or even a colleague could be activated to support the user of the device. |
